Kayla was born in Dallas, Texas, and has lived and traveled throughout the world, including spending part of her childhood in Saudi Arabia. She ultimately returned to North Texas, graduating from high school in Plano before pursuing her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin and Texas Tech University School of Law.  She had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain during her undergraduate years and later in Mexico during law school. 

After years of living in different places and experiencing different cultures, Kayla is proud to call Allen, Texas, home. She is committed to serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout Allen and the surrounding communities and takes pride in providing thoughtful, practical, and personalized legal guidance.

Kayla brings a unique combination of professional experience and personal perspective to her estate-planning practice. As both an estate-planning attorney and a parent of a child with special needs, she understands firsthand the challenges families face when planning for the long-term care, protection, and financial security of a loved one with special needs. This experience gives her a particular compassion for families navigating these complex issues, as well as a deep understanding of the importance of carefully structured guardianships and trusts. 

Kayla is committed to helping families protect and provide for loved ones who may not be able to advocate for themselves and works closely with each family to develop thoughtful, individualized plans designed to provide security and peace of mind for generations to come. 

Having also recently experienced the transition of her own two sons into adulthood, Kayla understands the importance of preparing young adults and their families for the legal realities that accompany turning 18. She regularly assists parents of college-bound students with preparing Durable Powers of Attorney and Medical Powers of Attorney, ensuring that parents can continue to assist their adult children in times of need.
