I am an experienced family lawyer and zealous advocate for my clients, and former Texas Assistant Attorney General with more than twenty-eight years of litigation experience. I know that there is a time and place for litigation in family cases; however, having represented thousands of clients I have seen the emotional and financial cost of litigating a family case and know that litigation is not the only option to resolve family disputes. As a collaboratively trained attorney and mediator, I believe that there are better options available to resolve family disputes outside of the courtroom. Both options allow the parties to craft agreements that are in the best interest of the family without stepping foot in a courtroom.
